Fol Chen has been consistently releasing lo-fi dance pop on the Asthmatic Kitty label (led by musician Sufjan Stevens) since 2009 and their latest effort, “The False Alarms”, is their best yet. They bring such diverse 80’s influences as Prince, Michael Jackson, Scritti Politti to the 21st Century.
As part of KCRW’s Summer Nights series, Fol Ched invited Robert Crouch to produce a remix of the title track, exclusively available as a free download from KCRW.
